Overview of UPS

Features of the digital ALL IGBT UPS

High functionality,

high reliability

Qualified power supply to the load by controlling using high-performance
DSP
(Digital Signal Processor)

Adopting a high-speed processor to possess various functions and substantialize high functionality

Convenience in usage

Operational status of the UPS can be monitored by utilizing Korea's first large-scale graphic touch screen in Korean and English, and the desired behavior can be operated or canceled

Self-diagnosis function

By constantly monitoring the status of each part of the UPS system, when Trou-ble occurs, the error contents are immediately displayed with an alarm on the graphic LCD, and self-diagnosis of the UPS system is available if needed.

Easily analyze accidents by memorizing all modifications and the time of the occurrences that have occurred since the initial operation of the UPS system

Even if all power to the UPS halts, it remembers any changes regarding original behavior

Remote monitoring feature (Option) - Choose one from the following items

 RS-485/232C Serial Interface

Alarm contact output (contact A) provides a total of five contacts

Operates in case of any abnormality

Operation in case of input low voltage or blackout

Operation in case of low voltage of Battery

Operation in case of inverter breakdown

Operation during By-Pass running

 Remote Emergency Power Off

 PC communication(SNMP)

 Remote Control Box

Provides Parallel / Redundancy features

Provide up to 3 UPSs in parallel, Parallel / Redundancy features (Customers who require high reliability and MTBF mainly use this UPS system)

Protective function

 Inverter overvoltage / overcurrent

 Rectifier overvoltage / overcurrent

 Storage battery over-discharge / over-charge

 System overheating

 Output short-circuit protection

Low distortion rate

Adopt Input PWM converter method and built-in Filter circuit (Input distortion rate: 3% or less voltage, 5% or less current)

Built-in Filter circuit at the output

(Output voltage distortion rate: linear 3% or less, non-linear 5% or less)

Reduction of power consumption

By adopting the PWM converter method, the Input harmonic voltaic distortion is less than 5%, and the input power factor is 0.99 or more, reducing the input capacity by more than 20% compared to the existing SCR method.

Rectifier / Charger part

The rectifier adopting the PWM converter method charges the battery with a slight ripple current through the reliable control of the DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and supplies stable power to the inverter.

Inverter part

Realize accurate sine wave by high-frequency PWM control applying the latest IGBT device and DSP (Digital Signal Processor), operate instantaneous control based on advanced control technology, and supply quality power (constant voltage, constant frequency) to the load with highly rapid respond feature.

Features of high inverter function

 Optimal voltage control feature

(Waveform distortion: 3% or less for linear load, 5% or less for non-linear load)

High-function overload resistance (over 125% of rated load for 10 minutes)

 Output short-circuit protection feature

 Stable constant-frequency feature

(±0.1㎐ or less)

Rapid response feature through instantaneous control

 Storage battery undervoltage / overvoltage

Rectifier / Sine waveform of charger part

Power system efficiency is increased by about 20% by revising the power factor compared to general rectifying Converter

Improvement in Input harmonic voltaic distortion

Static Bypass Switch

In case of an abnormality in the inverter in the UPS, the power is automatically operated seamless synchronous bypass to the Bypass Line so that the load power is always uninterrupted.

The switchover part where the bidirectional SCR is connected protects the element and system from overcurrent on the load side.

Automatic switchover condition to BYPASS LINE

 Overload of inverter

 Short circuit in inverter output

 Breakdown of inverter

 Overheating
